I’m Martin Donelan, the principal consultant in SBR. I started as a carpenter, then builder, undertaking extensions and renovations in the Sutherland Shire for 20 years. For the last 20 years I have worked as an office-based project manager and building consultant. After managing an engineering consultancy with 10 staff for some years I established my own consultancy 13 years ago.
I have inspected over 1200 buildings and prepared Water Penetration Reports, Technical Roof Inspections, Building Defects Reports and more. In addition to 40 years full-time construction industry experience, I qualified as a Mediator 20 years ago with I.A.M.A. If Mediation with a building dispute fails, I provide Expert Witness Litigation Reports.
